As the eldest of 8 children, I’m a born and bred caregiver and have always been fascinated by the magic and beauty that is pregnancy and childbirth. My passion for supporting families led me to the field of Early Childhood Education where I worked with hundreds of families over more than a decade. When I had my own daughter, I was incredibly fortunate to have an amazing support team including a midwife and a doula. I never felt as strong and as cared for as I did during that process. Every birthing person deserves to feel that level of support and I realized that supporting families at the very beginning of their journey is where my passions and skill set could be the most impactful. I believe pregnancy and childbirth are the most natural processes we can experience. Your body was designed to do this, every cell in your body knows how to grow and birth your baby but there is so much external noise out there that can make us question or doubt our abilities to do so. Through evidence-based education, practical hands-on support & emotional companionship, I provide the tools to help you drown out that noise so you can feel empowered walking into your birth & postpartum period trusting in your body, your baby and your intuition! I am deeply committed to honouring the uniqueness of every family and providing compassionate and personalized care that reflects your personal beliefs and values! This is YOUR journey and you get to decide what it looks like! My job is to make sure you have the adequate information to feel confident in your choices and then support and advocate for those choices, whatever they are. This is a judgement-free space!
