Service Description

This hybrid doula course blends self-paced online preparation with two days of in-person training in Vancouver, BC, followed by 6 weeks of online classes. You’ll learn about the physiology of birth, comfort measures, medical interventions, postpartum recovery, and the practical steps of building a doula practice. You’ll also have the chance to practice communication skills, role-play real scenarios, and connect with others who share your interest in birth work. Who This Course Is For This training is open to anyone who feels drawn to birth work: aspiring doulas, parents, caregivers, and professionals in related fields (midwifery, nursing, massage, counselling). No prior experience required—just curiosity and an open heart. Many of our graduates go on to build thriving doula practices with full caseloads. We provide the tools, mentorship, and business foundation to help you succeed. ​
