Service Description

My entire life, I have felt that working with pregnant people and newborns was a calling of mine. Even as a child, I wanted to interact with babies as much as possible and loved learning about prenatal and postnatal development. My brother was born thirteen years after me, and it was the best thing that had ever happened to me! Having a first hand effect on people’s experience giving birth has always driven me to pursue this field of work. I am passionate about advocating for my clients’ comfort and support in any birth setting. My role as your doula is to ensure that you feel safe, listened to and accepted, and to be relied upon to inform decisions that prioritizes your needs while respecting all set boundaries and preferences. I have completed the doula training program at Douglas College and I am very thrilled to be mentoring with Birth by Bloom. My services include providing reliable resources and pain management remedies, and my skills include speaking fluent French and extensive first responder training including an Emergency Medical Responder certification.
