Service Description
My name is Neha, and I am a birth and postpartum doula passionate about providing evidence-based information and compassionate support to ease the fear and overwhelm that can surround pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum. I was born and raised in British Columbia by Indian parents and grandparents, which gave me a deep appreciation for my culture and the role that family, traditions, and beliefs play in our lives. I am proud to support both English and Punjabi speaking families. I believe every family deserves to feel understood, respected, and supported in their cultural traditions, religious beliefs, and personal values, My background as a pharmacy technician strengthened my ability to understand and communicate important health information clearly. I bring these skills into my work as a doula by providing evidence-based information in a way that feels approachable and supportive My approach to birth work is rooted in informed choice, consent, and respect for each family's individual needs. I will never tell you how your birth should look or what your journey into parenthood should be. Instead, I want to help you feel informed, heard, and supported in the decisions that feel right for you and your family. I believe that care should be personalized and I aim to meet you where you are at. My goal is have you feel as supported and cared for as possible however that may look. Alongside my work as a doula, I teach postpartum education classes at Hope for Women because I believe preparing for life with a new baby is just as important as preparing for birth. I am passionate about providing care that extends beyond the delivery room, supporting you through birth, recovery, and the transition into parenthood. It would be an honour to be part of your journey as you welcome your baby into this world.
